Conference Venue

SISAP 2025 will be hosted by Reykjavík University. The main conference sessions will take place at Nauthóll, a restaurant and conference venue located directly behind the University building. For detailed directions, see the location on Google Map.

The registration desk and most conference sessions will be held at Nauthóll. The Poster & Demonstration session will take place in the foyer of the university building (known as the Sun).

Arriving by Foot or Bus

If you arrive by foot or by bus, you will likely enter from the front of the University building. The fastest route to Nauthóll is to walk through the university foyer and follow the short path toward the beach. Nauthóll will be on your left, and signage will be provided to help you locate the SISAP entrance.

Reykjavik University

SISAP 2025 will be hosted by Reykjavik University (RU). RU has seven departments, organised under the School of Technology and the School of Social Sciences. About 3500 students attend the various departments and RU has over 500 staff.

The university moved into a new building in 2010 after years of operating in multiple buildings. The new building is at Menntavegur 1 (translates to Education-road 1). The main building is near the city centre and sits next to the domestic airport, just below one of Reykjavik’s landmarks, Perlan, and just next to Nauthólsvík , Iceland’s only heated beach -— yes, you read that correctly! To escape the cold weather, locals have created a cozy artificial lagoon heated to 38.5°C, complete with regularly refreshed white sand for that perfect warm beach vibe!
