Double-blind reviewing
Research papers will be judged through double-blind reviewing.
The identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers.
Thus, author names and affiliations must not appear in research papers,
and bibliographic references must be adjusted to preserve author anonymity.
Presentation at the conference
Full papers: | Accepted full papers are expected to be orally presented at the conference session. Each paper has allocated 25 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. |
Posters and demos: |
A whole session in the conference will be devoted to posters/demos. Each
demo/poster will also be given the opportunity of a
5 minutes presentation to "attract" the audience.
|
Papers must be submitted as pdf files and must not exceed 8 pages (full
papers), or 2 pages (posters or demos) and must adhere to the standard
ACM SIG Proceedings format.
Formatting instructions and LaTeX/Word macros are available on the ACM site.
Please note that, since all the papers have to be included in the ACM DL,
authors have to be very careful in embedding all the fonts within their
PDF file.
Authors may want to have a look at the following
FAQ.
Some have also reported that the online tool
PDF converter
is usually successful in generating well-formed PDFs.
It is possible to see if ia paper includes un-embedded fonts by looking
(in Acrobat reader) at "File -> Properties -> Fonts" and checking whether
all fonts are "Type 1" and "(Embedded subset)".
